Update: Great concert. It was ulta-polished but not just a routine. I could tell he's trying to move away from his older songs because he stuffed most of his 80s hits into a short medley. The rest was straight up funk. It was interesting when he let some women on stage to shake their thangs. One lady even brought her kid on stage, and when people my age start bringing their kids to see bands I like I get the feeling I'm pushing up in the years.

Got my tix. Musicology arrived in the mail. Not his best but pretty damn funky and his band sounds great.
