9/11 Commemoration @ El Prado

7 p.m. at the Museum of Photographic Arts, 1649 El Prado in Balboa Park. 619-238-7559.

Singer/songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman (whose songs have been bellowed forth by the legendary vocal chords of those such as Elton John, Trisha Yearwood and Willy Nelson) performs with keyboardist Annie Roboff at the Museum of Photographic Arts during a ceremony to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks three years ago. Visitors are invited to bring a photograph of their loved ones to the current exhibit, Circle of Memory. Two of the exhibiting artists will be participating in the ceremony and the museum will be free for those attending.
