Last I heard from CityMark there are 12 units left. And I guess now we're looking at a early 2006 completion date.
Also, I just noticed that you can actually see the Fahrenheit construction site in the CCDC's animated flyover videos.
In the first video, the L-shaped site shows up near the end of the clip. Look for it next to the new library dome. In the second video, it shows up right in the beginning, just to the right of Petco Park.

Hey, back in August I got linked by the San Diego Blog.
Update: Here's a listing of available downtown condos. It looks pretty comprehensive and up-to-date. Has CityMark sold all their units city-wide?

If you're interested in San Diego's downtown area including the ballpark, new developments, etc, the CCDC's Plan Update is a must read (link).
I'm really diggin' the city planners' idea of City of Villages for compact and vibrant neighborhoods. Especially details such as Green Streets with enhanced landscaping and trees.
Some excerpts from the plan:
Ensure that development is compatible with ballpark operations by reviewing all development in the Ballpark Protection Zone (Figure 3-3) for potential noise, light, glare, shadow, urban design, and sign conflicts.
...
Develop K Street as a pedestrian-focused cultural corridor linking the Main Library, Sushi Theater, Outfield Park/Neighborhood Center, and other attractions with the Bayside, Gaslamp Quarter, and Marina neighborhoods.Develop J Street as a retail corridor, adjoining and reinforcing retail at Outfield Park.
...
Island Avenue: Green Street through the neighborhood. This Green Street runs through the entire downtown; tree treatment may vary across different neighborhoods; however, the bikeways and wide sidewalk treatment should be consistent.
...
I keep a photo gallery of East Village development here.
Update: Some people are not happy with the plan. [via sdnews]

I must admit, I actually thought suprnova.org would be around for a while. It was fun while it lasted.
It appears that after Dec 1 you're entitled by law to a free annual credit report. Currently available to California and some other states. I just tried it and it works as advertised. Make sure you follow the instructions to get past Equifax' attempts to get you to buy something.
I have no idea what this band is about...just thought their name was interesting.

I know we're a small market but $5000 seems a little low for major league music.
Underground music TV show Fox Rox has joined with the San Diego Padres to find the Friars their new theme song. They’re asking for submissions from local musicians, and the winning entry gets $5,000, plus other goodies and bragging rights. Interested musicians can watch Fox Rox Thursdays at Midnight (XETV, Channel 6) to get the details.
