Before We Leave

My todo list before leaving for Whistler:

  • thermals
  • swimwear
  • Passport or birth certificate.
  • Pepto chewables
  • Contact lens solution
  • Charge camera battery
  • Charge GBA
  • Pack toolkit

Other tips:

  • Don't worry about getting Canadian currency before we leave. I usually just bring a bank ATM card and a credit card. The best exchange rate is through an ATM or credit card. There's an ATM right in the Village (and I'm sure all over Vancouver) where we can get our loonies.

The Vancouver hotel is The Blue Horizon Hotel on Robson Street. See http://www.robsonstreet.ca for info on the area. I reserved 2 rooms, each room has 2 queen beds, each room is about US $75/night + tax.
